Golden Mushroom: A Culinary Journey through Thai, Chinese, and Japanese Delights

My experience here was great. I grew up in the area but had no Idea about this absolutely authentic restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and gives such a homey feeling. I feel free to express myself and talk amongst my peers over a good home cooked meal. Eating here I can really taste the love in the food. The service was not only efficient but excellent. Will be coming here again.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Nyack County, this warm and casual spot offers consistently excellent service and generous portions. The menu is impressive, ranging from fresh sushi like the Phoenix roll to delicious classics like General Tso's and Capital Chicken. A particular standout is the Egg Foo Young, which is served with a unique and amazing red sauce that is far superior to the standard brown gravy. Whether dining in or taking out, the food is always fresh and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

I have driven past this place for years and always said we should try it. We got takeout on New Year’s Eve. It was very good and nice size portions. The inside is roomy and clean with a fantastic looking dining room area. The staff seemed friendly, a bit over anxious but I think they were geared up for the rush. Saw some nice lunch specials that I am going to try at a different time.

The Golden Mushroom feels like one of those cozy, reliable spots you’re always happy to come back to. The pan-fried dumplings are especially good, crispy on the bottom, soft and chewy on top, and really flavorful inside. They taste freshly made and pair perfectly with the soy dipping sauce. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the overall vibe is simple and comforting. Definitely a go-to place when you’re craving something warm and satisfying.
